The first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “telephones” is calling someone – your friends, parents, colleagues, etc. After all, this is the main goal of the phone.

Before we begin, it is worth noting that this process may be slightly different depending on the manufacturer of your device. Most smartphone manufacturers like to do their thing when it comes to OS. This is done to ensure that their smartphones are different from competitors. And the application for contacts is no exception. For this lesson, I use my Xiaomi MI A1, which runs Android.

How to Add Photos to Contacts on Android

  1. Open the Contacts application on your phone and find the contact you want to assign a photo to.
  2. Tap the contact, and then click the edit button in the lower right corner. Here you can see the difference depending on your smartphone.
  3. Click the camera button at the top and select “Take a photo” or “Select a photo” depending on whether you have a photo with you or not.
  4. Select a photo and press “Save” in the upper right corner.
  5. You have successfully added a picture to your contact.

If you’ve enabled sync for contacts in your Google Account settings and are using the same account on multiple Android devices, the contact image will be automatically synced to all of your devices, including the Google Contacts site, which you can access through a web browser on your desktop table,
