The novelty was very well received by consumers, therefore it is no wonder that the manufacturer on a wave of success hastens to release the second generation of this line. The successor in the person of Realme 2 will be available on August 28 exclusively in the Indian online store Flipkart. Some features of the smartphone have already been confirmed by Oppo, among them – the Snapdragon chipset, a 6.2-inch screen with a cutout and a battery capacity of 4230 mAh. It is known that Realme 2 will receive a display with a resolution of HD + (1520 × 720 pixels) and a Snapdragon 450 processor, as expected. Two memory configurations are expected – 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB. Of course, there is a microSD card slot up to 256 GB. The main camera is represented by sensors at 13 and 2 megapixels, the front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels, supports AI algorithms, HDR and background blur effect.
Of the other features worth noting support for 4G and VoLTE on both SIM-cards and a battery capacity of 4230 mAh. The smartphone runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo with the functions of Face Unlock and SmartLock.

For all these characteristics, Realme 2 is identical to the recently released Oppo A5. Apparently, it could be a model of a smartphone renamed for the Indian market. By the way, the cost of Oppo A5 at the start of sales was $ 225.
