Microsoft plans to release lighter version of its operating system

After attempting to ship Windows 10 S, Microsoft decided to focus on another, lighter version of its latest operating system. The company has already tested the first compilations of the novelty for users of the Insider program.

Called “Windows 10 Lean”, the platform does not have advanced features such as wallpaper customization and record editor. It was discovered by a Redstone 5 tester (Build 17650). Check below:

According to the user, the new installation would be 2 GB smaller than the conventional Pro, in 64-bit edition. However, Lean would also be compatible with 32-bit software and Microsoft Store applications.

The trend is that the owners of more basic machines equipped with Windows 10 feel like the main difference only the customized choices. Already the absence of resources part would only make the difference in more robust computers.
