Sticky Notes Application will go Beyond Windows 10

In the Microsoft directory, this will be the third such service, because now the company has more popular To-Do and OneNote. The company Microsoft announced the imminent deployment of a major upgrade to Sticky Notes – a tool for creating interactive notes built into the operating system Windows 10. The first new version of the application under the number 3.0 will be tested by participants of the Windows Insider Preliminary Evaluation Program in the Skip Ahead channel. The software giant promises that they will get access in the near future.

According to one of the engineers of the Sticky Notes development team on Twitter, a number of innovations are planned for the 3.0 update. The main ones are supported for the dark mode, a revised panel for formatting notes and improved animations in the interface, among others – a new logo and increased productivity. In addition, integration with Microsoft To-Do/OneNote services and synchronization between PCs is expected, but these functions have not yet been confirmed.

The upcoming major update, apparently, will also make Sticky Notes a cross-platform application. Authoritative source Paul Thurrott (Paul Thurrott) argues that Microsoft is preparing to launch a note-maker on mobile platforms Android and iOS. Given the company’s current strategy, this is indeed possible.
