Sumo Group announced today that it has joined the Chinese Room game studio. Founded by Dan Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry, The Chinese Room has been known for some very innovative games before, with Dear Esther, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and So Let Us Melt for Google Daydream.
The Chinese Room will continue to work in Sumo Digital from now on. With this purchase, the total number of studios in Sumo Digital increased to 5, and the number of studios in the UK increased four.
