Despite everything, Vivo Xplay 7 will not become the flagship due to the mid-segment processor represented by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
One of the reputable insiders told the Chinese social network Weibo that Vivo is preparing a smartphone with impressive amounts of memory: 10 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It is noteworthy that this device will not be positioned as a flagship.
It is expected that the gadget with 10/512 GB of memory will be released within the line with the prefix “X” – most likely, called XPlay 7. The impressive volume of “RAM” will not be the only feature of the smartphone – the novelty is equipped with a built-in fingerprint scanner and main camera with three lenses (these characteristics are still quite rare in the mobile device market).
Despite everything, the smartphone got a mid-end processor in the face of Snapdragon 660 – its performance is definitely enough for most people, but it’s clearly not representative of the flagship 8xx series or even the sub-flagship chipset Snapdragon 710.
Earlier ASUS wanted to equip its gaming smartphone ROG Phone module RAM at 10 GB, but it simply did not fit in the case of the device and the company had to be content with 8 GB RAM. Apparently, Vivo Xplay 7 will be quite dimensional.
It is expected that the Chinese corporation will present a novelty in August 2018.
